English Breakfast! Why is it so hard finding a good one in this town. Despite many damn ‘good only for the eyes’ joints we find overloaded the city, am glad my search is over. For Gastro 1/6 is where it’s finally worth it to wake up for a good breakfast in Bangkok.
situated at the RMA institue, not only the food here you’ll enjoy.
at this DIY cafe, you order at the counter, where the lovely host takes down your order. make yourself very at home by asking and grabbing anything you need from there (water, napkins, glasses, black pepper and more). the frequently changed specials is written on the side board. do find more food and drinks on the detailed menu.
beside a great coffee here, a good n breezy bianco is a must to kick off your day! they also serve wines by bottle and if you have time to laid back.
an assorted of well toasted baguette and beautifully baked muffin came w. butter and jam.

house salad w. bacon was just alright..
korn ordered a good sized full english breakfast set; 2 organic eggs, bacon, delicious mushroom sausage, roasted tomato, and the above toast. everything was beautifully cooked just right and yummy on the plate. served w. fruit juice n coffee.
mine was 2 poached eggs w. saut mushrooms, asparagus and truffle oil..all fit together scrumptiously, then slightly salted w. sprinkles of tasteful parmesan.
just the right timing and cooking temperature, along w. the right side, it was truely the best poached i had since moved back. they also offer other sides if you prefer smoked salmon or cherizo and sundried tomato.

a great motto to wait by while eating here. pls. keep calm and note that every delicious dish is cooked w. heart and that the rightness can not be rushed. just bring your favorite book or order a bottle of wine and chill. the wait is almost intolerable on weekend. it is highly recommended you show up only on weekdays bet. 8.30am to 3pm (except monday)
